Refund Policy
At BHBL, we understand that circumstances may lead to the need for a refund of your registration fee. Please note our refund policy outlined below:
Processing Fee: All refund requests are subject to a $25.00 processing fee.
Refund Period: Refunds requested before BHBL's rating weekend will be eligible for a 100% refund, minus the $25 processing fee.
Partial Refund: Refund requests made between ratings weekend and draft or team placement will be eligible for a 50% refund minus the $25 processing fee.
No Refunds After Drafts/Team Formation: No refunds will be issued after the draft and team formation process.
Discretionary Refunds: In some cases, it may be at the discretion of the Board of Directors and Commissioner to issue refunds beyond the outlined policy.
Waiting List Refunds: If your registration has been processed and you have been placed on our waiting list without being assigned to a team, a full refund will be issued if BHBL cannot find a roster spot for the player.
To request a refund, please promptly email the Commissioner at commissioner@bhbasketball.com with your refund request. We will process your refund as soon as possible.
Please remember that the $25.00 processing fee is non-refundable in all cases.

Privacy Policy
BHBL, a nonprofit community recreational youth basketball league run by dedicated volunteers, values the privacy of its participants and families. This Privacy Policy is designed to ensure the protection of our members' rights to privacy and confidentiality as necessary and appropriate
Personally Identifiable Information:
BHBL requires participants and volunteers to register with the organization, providing personally identifiable information required for participation in its programs. This information includes names, dates of birth, contact details, emergency contact information, and any relevant medical conditions. Credit or debit card information used for payment is processed securely and not stored by BHBL.
Volunteers are required to provide their full legal name, date of birth, contact information, photo identification card number, and social security number for background screening purposes. This sensitive information is encrypted when transmitted to our background screening vendor.
Data Security:
BHBL takes data security seriously. We utilize the highest level of security, encryption, and firewall protection available for our data, file, and communication systems. Physical files are stored securely.
Information Sharing:
BHBL does not sell or disseminate personally identifiable information. BHBL remains the sole owner of its membership data.
Photographs and Video:
Photographs and videos of players and volunteers may be used in BHBL training and promotional materials with appropriate permissions. These images will not disclose player identities.
Online Information:
Online information may include IP addresses and browsing data, used for improving our digital experiences.
Children's Privacy:
BHBL does not knowingly collect or use personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent, in compliance with applicable laws.
