Temporary site - We are currently building our new and improved site.

Dear BHBL Players, Families & Friends,

We have missed you all since our last season of Spring ’23.

We look forward to seeing all of you back on the courts for our Winter 2023/2024 season. Registration is now open for our Winter season and the season starts in December.

Some divisions fill up as quickly as in the first few weeks, so register ASAP to lock in your spot!

Please bear with us as we are in the process of revamping our registration, our website and all of our processes, to give you the best version of BHBL to date!!

Please email the Commissioner at commissioner@bhbl.info with any questions.

We hope you had a great Summer!

General Info About The BHBL

The BHBL is a Volunteer-Based Organization

We began our program in 1998, with the goal of providing an opportunity for the children of our neighborhood to play in a recreational basketball league and have the ability to interact in a positive environment, with their friends and family. The BHBL has been, and will continue to be, a program that encourages a wonderful camaraderie within our community.

The BHBL runs a Winter basketball league for girls and boys in grades Pre-K to Seniors in High School, and a Spring league for girls and boys, 3rd grade and up. The BHBL is a volunteer-based organization, committed to teaching and practicing the ideals of good sportsmanship, character, teamwork, and fair play. The goal of the BHBL is to create a fun and positive experience for all of our players, fans and volunteers. Our program is designed to build self-confidence, self-esteem and positive moral character in all of our participants.

HAVE FUN, HONOR THE GAME!

The BHBL has an open enrollment policy for residents and non-residents alike.  The BHBL provides a priority registration for players whose parents volunteer to coach.  Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

Our league is divided into ten general divisions and these are the day of the week we anticipate them playing, this Winter season:

  • Boosters Co-Ed Division (Pre-K to 1st Grade) - Saturdays
  • Rookie Boys (2nd Grade) - Sundays
  • Rookie Girls (2nd & 3rd Grade) - Saturdays
  • Minor Boys (3rd to 5th Grade) - Sundays
  • Minor Girls (4th & 5th Grade) - Sundays
  • Major Boys (6th & 7th Grade) - Sundays
  • Major Girls (6th to 8th Grade) - Saturdays
  • Senior Boys (8th & 9th Grade) - Sundays
  • Senior Girls (9th to 12th Grade) - Saturdays
  • Super Senior Boys (10th to 12th Grade) – Sundays

*All Game & Event Dates are subject to change with no further notice, should the BHBL deem it absolutely necessary.

With the exception of our Booster Division, the girls and boys play on separate teams and only play games against same-gender teams. In our Booster and Rookie Divisions, we also attempt to divide them further to have same-grade teams play against each other, as much as our schedule permits.

What Each Player Gets

Each player enrolled in the Winter season of the BHBL will get:  signature BHBL t-shirt, custom designed uniform including jersey and shorts, photo package, trophy & yearbook.
